Great story

My first thought: why on earth do you arrange a date once a year with the person you are falling for?! Still it makes a great book idea and I guess Fallon and Ben would agree with me. ;)
I absolutely loved the first half of this book. I had so much fun with Fallon and Ben, they made me laugh so hard. There were some hilarious scenes and I also enjoyed the premise of their relationship, even though it's hard to understand why you won't see that person for another year.
The second half had some plot twists which I didn't always like but some still made sense to me. It's normal that a year can change a lot and that the people are changing as well.
Still there was something missing and I couldn't always understand the character's reactions, especially Fallon.
Still I really enjoyed this book which has a great premise and some heartbreaking moments. I also loved all the bookish references between the two.
