Worst Case - James Patterson, Michael Ledwidge

Lean back and read a Patterson's book! It is going to blow you away! Yes, right, isn't it? At least, this is not. It could at one point, but not with Michael Bennett!

Detective Michael Bennett is star of another book series by James Patterson. New York city - his station. This is his third case (first: "Step on a crack", second: "Run for your life") and it turns out to be his worst. Somebody is kidnapping the children of New York's wealthiest families. Questioning them. Letting life in their very own hands. Time is ticking - fast!

  • Worst - typical cliché NYPD novel.
  • Worst - no turns, no surprises.
  • Worst - topic without a deep storyline.
  • Worst - characters.
  • Worst - no stylistic devices.
  • Not that worse: rushing through.

Why then two twinkling bright golden stars? "Memento homo, quia pulvis es, et in pulverem reverteris." - Catholic saying (ash cross), and "He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how." - Friedrich Nietzsche, give ...

... moral to the novel!

Boah, Hase. Wegen Glückskekssprüchen gibt's zwei Punkte? Großzügig!
