Different but it works

This was another book that collected dust on my shelf for several years before I actually came around to read it. When I saw the trailer for 'Doctor Sleep' announcing the movie to be out in November, I decided I had to read the book before I could go and watch the movie (which is my usual order, otherwise the movie plays in my head while reading the book, leaving not much space for my own imagination, especially regarding the characters).
