I have been a huge fan of the Lockwood series but the fourth installment wasn't able to grab me completely. I don't know if it is the book or if it is an language issue. I've read the first three books in the German translation and loved the atmospheric and sometimes even creepy scenery. This is what I missed the most in The Creeping Shadow. You may ask why I choose to mention friendship as the first thing. That's why. Lockwood & Co is a great saga about ghosts and young agents in their fight against the evil and how brave they are in this fight. But first and above it is a story about friendship.
