„The World of Vikings“ ist das Begleitbuch zur Serie „Vikings“. Ich habe das Buch auf Englisch gelesen, es ist leicht verständlich. Justin Pollard gibt darin Einblicke in die Produktion, die historischen Hintergrundinfos würde ich aber mit Vorsicht genießen und lieber ein aktuelles Werk eines Skandinavisten zu Rate ziehen; ich denke, die „Berserker“ – Theorie ist unter Historikern durchaus umstritten. Es gibt ein paar schöne Fotos vom Set, allerdings werden nicht alle Staffeln im Buch...
