I had high expectations for this book for 2 reasons: 1. The Story sounded so promising and 2. so many people raved about Before I fall, saying it is so good. I couldn't disagree more.
At the beginning I couldn't get into the story, it was a bit repetitive, so I had to put it down and read something else in the meantime. In the end I was getting a bit frustrated as I couldn't understand the whole idea of the book. Having finished it today I've been thinking about it and I still don't...
Von Lauren Oliver kannte ich bisher die Amor-Trilogie in der deutschen Übersetzung und mag ihren Stil sehr.
Before I fall habe ich im Original gelesen (dt. Titel: Wenn du stirbst, zieht dein ganzes Leben an dir vorbei, sagen sie) und mag ihren Stil und ihre Art zu erzählen immer noch sehr. Oder gar noch mehr.
