Lucy Maud Montgomery: My First L. M. Montgomery

"Anne of Green Gables" was my favorite TV-show when I was a little kid! Only later I learned of the books this story is based on, and as soon as they were available in my part of the world I read them all, of course!

In this short biography I now learned that Lucy Maud is actually very much like Anne, she is even depicted with the distinctive braids in the cute illustrations. It's too bad that the book ends already with her publication of the first Anne book, but on the other hand it...
