Kurz hatte ich befürchtet, dass der Titel, "Bitter Kingdom", darauf hindeutet, dass es für Elisa kein Happy End gibt. Aber beim Lesen bin ich dann zur Überzeugung gekommen, dass sich der Titel auf das Reich Invierne bezieht, in dem in diesem Band ein großer Teil der Handlung spielt.
Wie am Ende des zweiten Bands versprochen, bricht Elisa zur Rettungsmission für Hector auf, begleitet von Mara, Bélén und Storm - der fünfte Platz ist für Hector vorgesehen, wird dann aber schnell durch...

Zum ersten Band gab es damals noch eine Rezension.Der Auftakt hatte mir sehr gut gefallen und deswegen musste ich diese Trilogie zu Ende lesen.
Vor kurzem habe ich dann auch den zweiten Teil THE CROWN OF EMBERS (Deutsch: DIE FEUERKRONE) gelesen und dieser war noch einmal besser als sein Vorgänger.
