~I liked this book, which is the 2nd part of the Caveman series, a little bit more than Caveman :)

I´m not sure if you necessarily have to read Caveman before you read Undone but I reccommend to do it.

This book is shorter than Caveman but also written from the point of views of both main characters who are Kaden (the brother of Matt from Caveman) and Hailey.

The book starts with the prequel called Troublemaker in which you get to know how both characters met each other and how their love began. The rest of the book is seperated in parts. It has 5 parts to be exact. Those parts show the phases of their relationship. The bad ones and good ones. The pre and after life/ moments of Kadens "situation".

The book is about love (of course), trust and misunderstanding. It´s about the fear of being hurt again, about being scared to give yourself completely again, to love and trust again. And it´s about the importance of communicating with and understanding each other.

I don´t wanna say much else about this book because it´s quite short and I don´t want to spoiler anything. But just let me say... Love isn´t easy and sometimes things happen that make you realize what you feel, what you fear, what you want, what you need, what mistakes you´ve done and what you need to do to make it better. And this is exactly what happens in this book. So read it :)

My Opinion:

The writing style was still fine. There were still a couple mistakes but it didn´t bother me much.

I liked Kaden and Hailey. Kaden reminded me of Matt. Also stubborn and sexy. Dark and brooding. Hurt and broken. I was just confused that he looks so different. Him being blonde and (if I remember correctly) blue eyed while his brother was dark haired and had brown eyes. Like Day and Night. They weren´t adopted brothers and had the same parents. They must have looked alike. I think it´s quite rare in the DNA world to have brothers look so differently. But...whatever ;)

When I started the book and saw the prequel.. well. I had to check Goodreads if Undone really is part 2 of this series. It confused me for a moment, because there´s a book with the same title. But I realized very quickly that Troublemaker once was a little novella and is now part of Undone :)

The only problem I have with the prequel is that their lovestory happened too fast. Especially as both had/have trustissues.

The rest of the book/ story was fine. I enjoyed reading this book. Even though it has no eplilogue, I liked the ending. No- I loved it.

I also liked that a few things I missed in Caveman happened in Undone. I guess a few questions I had were answered as well.

So all in all- it was a short book that was long enough to make me like it :)
