A lot of action with a super easy love story

Callen is a confident wolf shifter and does not always like to play by the rules. While he’s on an undercover operation he discovers a truth so personal that he just can’t ignore it. For the first time in his life he decides to follow the rules and join Thatchs top secret elite squad. In order to support him Callen has to move in with him so they basically spend their entire day together. Soon Callen realizes that he is not only impressed by the many talents of his new boss but that he also starts to develop deeper feelings.
The story starts with quite a lot of action and remains exciting throughout the rest of the book. I really liked Callen with his bad-ass attitude because family is still the most important thing for him. With Thatch I had a bit of a harder time because I couldn’t really grasp him. Besides his elite squad abilities he seemed kind of flat to me. The same goes for their love story. It was a bit too easy and a bit too sweet to be realistic or anything I could honestly relate to. The action part of the story was something I enjoyed a lot more. There was a lot going on and I loved how big of a role technology played.
Overall it was a nice action story with an okay love part in it that I would rate 3.5 stars.
