Amazing and fast-paced
When Mac, Malachai MacCarrick receives a phone call that the one woman he could never forget is badly wounded and asking for him, nothing could stop him from rushing to her side. While slowly recovering from her traumatizing experience, Delaney also has to find out if she is willing to forgive or if she wants to let go of the one person who means everything to her. Between fighting their attraction, fighting her own demons and getting attacked, she is rather busy - and having a hard time being successful at denying their attraction.
I loved "Under Fire" a lot and I'm absolutely thrilled that this second installment in the series turned out to be just as good and captivating as "Under Fire".
I love the seals and their dynamic and I loved Mac and Delaney together and, of course, I also loved meeting Six and Louisa again.
This amazing and thrilling story sucked me in and kept me reading ...and reading...and reading..... I love this book and I can#t wait to read the other books in this series.
