This book is written in Jake's view.
After they were able to flee really close, Jake tries to spy more on his brother and overhears intersting news.
He consider to morph into a coackroach to be able to follow Tom, his brother. The morph works but he is lost in the coackroach. So the groups decide to be coackroachs and spy on Tom.
They overhear that they want to get the next president to be a Controller as well.
So they break into a hospital where they find a whirl pool full of Yeerks.
But they get attacked and Jake fall in the pool of Yeerks.
And due this a Yeerk was able to capture him, the group tries to help Jake. But how?
Totally absorbing this book, needs to continue in The Stranger
