My opinion: I really like this book. But it's not as exciting as the first "Chasing the Valley" story. If you read the first book, you know it contains plenty of running, fighting and blood. In comparison, this book is almost peaceful.
The characters are all the same. They've been through so much together, I'd hoped they'd become a crew with no secrets. But everyone still has theirs. But they're also glued together somehow, and at least they're friends by now.
The cover is beautiful. I'm so in love with it. It's reflecting the story, but one of the peaceful moments. This cover makes you want to be with Danika and her crew.
Conclusion: "Chasing the Valley - Borderlands" is a must-read for you, if you liked the first book. I'd really recommend it!
