I have been really excited when I heard there will be a new m/m romance by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy. I loved Him and Us, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on "Top Secret" and started reading it right on release day.
I started easily into the book, although I had to get used to all the names. The book is set in college and Keaton and Luke are in the same fraternity but can't stand each other. Keaton signs up on the app "Kink" to find a partner for the threesome his girlfriend is wishing for.
The chats on the app were really entertaining and funny, especially Keatons references to nature. The book has a huge potential for drama but I was glad that it didn't get too crazy.
I shouldn't but I have to compare Luke and Keaton to Wes and Jamie, and I am sorry to say that Luke and Keaton are quite a bit away from them. I do enjoyed their chemistry but it didn't overwhelm me and I think there was potential for a lot more feelings. I also had some problems that the two were still quite young, early college age, guess I just grew out of that setting and prefer older characters.
The book was an enjoyable read but couldn't fully live up to my expectations.
