“There is something comforting at the sight of strangers safe at home.”

An alcoholic, a liar and a cheat, who can you trust? These are the three women at the centre of this book: Rachel, Anna and Megan. Everyone in this book is absolutely terrible, but this just makes the story more fascinating.

The lives of three women converge in a suspenseful mystery after one of them ends up missing, the other two who are left behind are affected. The narration shifts among the different perspectives of each woman, each offering up her own version of events that loosely - and tightly in other ways - bind them all together. Three unreliable narrators who make us wandering blind throughout the whole story. The creepy factor is always here between the lines, while we start getting hints of truth, the tension slowly growing until we can't help but suspect each and every one of the characters we meet.

Looking for a great thriller? Look no further, the train has arrived. Paula Hawkins has written a tightly woven mystery with painful secrets and startling truths reveled along the way.

It was fascinating, gripping and oh so very creepy. This is definitely a thriller that keep me moving quickly through the pages. I wasn't completely satisfied with the ending, but, loved the authors ability to keep the story bound to a short list of characters.
