A collection of four short stories, all with a sci-fi twist. The first story which gives the book its title is definitely the best: a family spending Christmas on a specially themed planet. But something is weird, and not just the dog-faced aliens that live here, so Jake Corby does some little investigating.
Then there was a romantic space pirate story, an action-packed story about the rescue of an abducted girl, and a piece about mind control.
All stories shared a good portion of humor and originality which made them very entertaining and unpredictable. A surprisingly refreshing diversion from my usual hunting grounds.
