I don't know I really started liking Sutter throughout the book, even though he just makes sooooo many wrong decisions.
Through his perspective they aren't really wrong and you get to know his feelings. But at the same time you'r just like: "Don't you know the others are right?"
His relationship with Aimee is wonderful and she becomes this heartbreaking girl you just have to love, with a really bright future and this all happens thanks to Sutter.
The book talks about all the important life-themes in school, like mobbing, love, partys and one's future. But sadly it doesn't give one answer to any questions that might come up during the book.
