~Dating you, Hating you is about Evie and Carter who met at a costume party of mutual friends. They hit it off right away. Not only were they attracted to each other, but they also liked each other and made each other laugh. Working in the same field as talent agents and having similar interests connected them further. Everything looked good for both of them. Both worked at two differnt companies. So there wouldn´t be a problem, right? Well, no. A huge problem just arised unexpectedly in form of the merge of both their companies. And there is another problem as well. They could just keep one of them. So either Evie has to go or Carter. Feelings have to be buried, dating each other needs to stop, seeing each other as competition just started. And even though both hate this situation, both try everything to be better than the other. But for Evie it´s even harder as her boss Brad seems to try and want to push her out and treats Carter better than her. And then other things happen, questions start coming up and the FBI as well.

You want to know what happens to Evie and Carter? You want to know what funny things they do to each other? You want to know who gets the job? You want to know why Brad tries to push her (just her) out? You want to know why the FBI is involved? You want to know if this book has a happy end?

Well read this book and find the answers ;)

My opinion:

It was my fist Christina Lauren book and I heard many good things about this author duo and that their books are quite funny.

This book here made me smile, grin and laugh. The writing style- loved it. I really enjoyed reading it and didn´t want to stop (had to, but couldn´t wait to pick it up the next day).

I really, really liked the characters. They were awesome. Likeable, real, funny, adorable, charming, stubborn ... Evie and Carter were my faves. The sidekicks were great too.

I loved how they met, how they were teasing each other and then when they were competing- the pranks they did to each other->so funny :D

Carters nickname for Evie is just perfect (Evil) :D

Another thing I loved were their messages and the pictures of them.

The scene with Brads dog- Hilarious. The way the whole scene was described. I had my moms dog in my mind... the leg shaking... the looking back... this scene made me laugh so much.

There isn´t much I can complain about this book. As I already said- I enjoyed reading it.
I just don´t think the second part of the title is fitting. They didn´t hate each other. Here in Germany we have the saying:" Was sich liebt, das neckt sich."... I guess the English phrase of it is: "The quarrel of lovers is the renewal of love ". They liked each other and cared for one another no matter what. They still were attracted to each other and wanted a relationship. They both fell in love anyway. They didn´t want to hurt each other but were forced into a situation they hated. Hating a situation isn´t hating the person they are competing with. This situation just sucked for both of them and they tried to handle it as best as they could.

The end was good. I just wish there would have been a epilogue. I wanted to see them a bit in the future. Maybe with a Baby ;)

Now, after reading this book and getting to know their writing style and humour, I can´t wait to read the Beautiful Bastard Series :D

I def. can recommend this book. If you need something that gets you in a better mood and if you need sth sweet and fun- this is it :)
