So many questions left....

This isn´t really a review. I just finished reading this book last night after reading this series back to back and just wanted to say that I hope that there will be another book because there are still so many questions left. And I will write down those questions below in the hopes that they might be answered in a 4th book. All in all it was a good book/series. The writing was great and I love the characters with all their flaws. It wasn´t perfect (especially because there were so many misunderstanding and miscommunications between the characters that were at times annoying) but I enjoyed this series nontheless and loved the scene at the end with the brothers.
My questions (Spoiler):
1: Will Rhen be happy? In all 3 books he suffered so much. He was hurt, broken and depressed and has been through a lot. He was misunderstood by many (in my opinion) and lonely. And even though at the end of book 3 he was "free", he didn´t seem happy. And I want him too. Esp. with Harper. I need to see him having a life in which he is happy and content and won´t have to be constantly in fear. There weren´t also many scenes in which he was with Harper. I want him to love and be loved. I think he´d be a great dad too.
2. Is Lilith really dead? 3 books in which they all suffered by her but it ends in "seconds"? I feel like it was too easy and too fast and there wasn´t much said about her remains. And I don´t really understand why the dagger was so important to be mentioned when it at the end wasn´t helpful and barely used.
3. Wasn´t it mentioned in any of the books that the power/magic of a magesmith will go to/be inherited by the other magesmiths or rather the last remaining one? If I remember correctly...wouldn´t Grey be now the most powerful because he is the only one? I was also a bit dissappointed that his magic wasn´t really...I don´t know...It was more on the simple side....
4. I was hoping that Rhen and Grey will find peace and rule each kingdom on their own. Rhen with Harper in Emberfall and Grey with Lia Mara in Syhl Shallow. I mean how will that work now? Each kingdoms are ca. 5 days apart (by horse). And with Grey and Lia Mara having a baby- they can´t go back and forth all the time and I doubt they´d want to spent their time constanty apart. I thought Grey would abdicate the title in Emberfall so that Rhen would be King.
5. What is with Syhl Shallow? At the end of book 3 was no solution given to what´s happening there and no happy end in that area. So it´s totally open. What will happen there and what will Grey and Lia Mara do?
6. I don´t trust Nolla Verin. Didn´t like her right from the start. Will she go against her sister? Is she why the ppl of Syhl Shallow are making trouble? Is she trying to become the Queen?
6.Iisac...I actually was sad about his death and was hoping that any kind of magic would help him. But I´m glad that he finally found his son. And about Nakiis- so many questions. What happened? Why did he leave and didn´t want to be King? Has he been with Lilith the whole time and why? What did she do to him? Why was the relationship with his dad so "bad" and why didn´t he even go to his dads body to say goodbye? What is his story?
7. The future of the kingdoms is still open and unknown. So no clue if there will be actually peace and if the two couples can achieve that.
8. Harpers and Jakes Dad- It was mentioned that they don´t know where he went. Will they look for him? I mean Grey should be able to switch sides so they could look and Noah could also make sure that his parents are fine.
9. What actually happened to the bracelet thingy Lilith put on Grey at the beginning? He hid it. Couldn´t he have used the magic in it too? Was wondering the whole time if if could be used against Lilith. What happens if someone finds it and puts it on? Will it work on other ppl too or just Grey? And has it still magic in it after Lilith died?
Those are the questions I could think of at the moment. There might be more. As I´ve said- I hope that there will be a 4th book or even more because I don´t like open endings and being left with questions...Guess I´ll have to see what the future will bring
