"People come in and out of your life. For a time they are your world; they are everything. And then one day they're not."

P.S. I Still Love You opens right after where the first book left it off. Lara Jean on at the verge of making it up to Peter. And she’s slowing navigating her life.

Unfortunately, my biggest issue with the novel was the attitude of the main love interest. The only way to describe my feelings throughout this book is "uncomfortable" - I was very uncomfortable with Peter's choices and reactions to issues within this sequel. Another issue I had with this book was the introduction of a second love triangle. I know book one was basically built upon this trope but it felt so unnecessary. The conflict between Lara Jean and Peter was individually complex enough to exist without developing another potential love interest. It felt as if Peter was being villainized due to the introduction of this character, and this character was glorified to force readers to prefer them over Peter. Now, it's official that I'm not a fan of love triangles, and I have to admit that it really bothered me here.

This book just irked me. There were all sorts of loose ends left open, the entire plot line with John seemed forced and unbelievable, and between Anonybitch, setting their dad up on dates, the assassin's game, getting stuck at the retirement home overnight, the time capsule, the old tree house getting cut down, etc etc -- it felt more like a young fanfic author pulling out all the stops to get her characters in weird situations, not a seasoned writer molding reality. I did not like it.

Unfortunately, I struggle a bit with this sequel.
