Stormbreaker is the start of Anthony Horowitz ten book long series about young spy Alex Rider.

“you’re never too young to die…”

Alex is fourteen years old and lives, since the death of his parents, at his uncle’s place. But one day everything changes because his uncle dies in a car accident.

Regards unlocked seat belt, which is weird for Alex because he remembers the strict rule about lock the seat belt in the car.

His investigation prove that he is right and that his uncle died because his car looks like a cheddar cheese, full of bullet holes, and not because he didn’t lock the seat belt.

He also figures out that his uncle has worked for a bank which is in reality a cover for the MI6.

The MI6 ask Alex to continue the same task as his uncle started, if he denies he has to leave the uncle house and has to live in an orphanage.

So what choice does he really have?

I will not continue to tell more about this, because this book is so well written that keeps you on track how he has to survive in the criminal world.

I am looking forward to read the second part "Point Blanc".
