Expected more

For me the book very much lacked on the emotional side. The story has a lot of potential but it's starting out really slow with lots of talking but still it couldn't get me close to the characters. I felt like a spectator, far away from feeling or suffering with the characters.

Despite the story being slow-paced I still had the feeling things were very rushed. I don't know how to fix this book on a timeline but the relationship between Karen and Tyler was progressing quite fast. I...
