A different contemporary romance

Everyone seems to love this book, so I had really high expectations and was extremely curious about this book.
I really liked the book. It's cute, it's funny and it's different from the usual contemporary stories. Still I was missing something which I honestly can't even name. It was just some final spark that I missed which stopped me from being head over heels with this story.
Another thing that bothered me is the ending. I didn't like how everything turned out and everything was too perfect in the end. Don't get me wrong, I love cheesy romanced but I just thought that this didn't match with the rest of the stoy.
The characters were pretty great too, especially Julie. I really liked her, she was though but at the same time vulnerable too.
Jessica Park has a very catchy writing style which I liked a lot.
I don't know what the other books in this series are about but I will definetely have a look at them.
