I just have no interest in reading this story. The character is a nightmare and the writing is clumsy too. I am not interested in how everything will continue.
I have read "Eleanor & Park" by the same author and didn't really enjoy it either, so this has been last try with a Rainbow Rowell book.
Rowells Fangirl ist ein Buch, indem sich jeder, der von Fanfiktions fansziniert ist, in irgendeiner Weise wiederfinden kann. Die Charaktere sind gut ausgearbeitet und sehr lebendig. Man findet sich wirklich leicht in ihnen wieder und kann sich mit ihnen identifizieren und sie verstehen. Auch alles um Simon Snow ist gut durchdacht. Das merkt man vor allem an den Zitaten aus der Buchreihe und den Fanfiktions von Cath, in denen man einige Details zu den Büchern erfährt, die einem den Eindruck...

Es geht um Cather, die introviertere Hälfte eines Zwillingspaares. Ihr Leben lang unzertrennlich von ihrem Zwilling, ist Cath, leidenschaftliche Fanfiction-Autorin mit eigener Fan-Base, auf dem College auf einmal auf sich allein gestellt...

Ich bin ohne besonders große erwartungen, an das Buch gegangen, da das eigentlich nicht so mein Genre ist, aber ich wurde positiv überrascht.
Auch wenn die meisten, die das Buch gelesen haben, wahrscheinlich erst die anderen Werke der Autorin gelesen haben, kann ich nur sagen auch als Neuling kann man das Buch durchaus genießen.
Zur Story:
Eigentlich eher etwas piano, was aber sehr gut zu dem Buch passt. Das College Leben von Cath wird weder über- noch unterspitzt...

I loved E&P by Rainbow Rowell. It got me on so many levels that it was almost scary. Every single line in E&P got my approval.
That's when I started following Rainbow on twitter and got to "know" her a little tiny bit better and was enchanted.
So Fangirl was a Must Read without even knowing what it would be about.
And then, when we all knew about the story, it was almost painful to wait all these months to get the book.
