Still Alice by Lisa Genova is a beautifully written, heartbreaking novel about the devastating affect Alzheimer's has on its victims and their families.

This book has changed me. Lisa Genova's writing style is wonderful, I feel more informed, aware, sensitive and moved by being engrossed in Alice's life and experience. I felt her emotions as she realized that soon she would be a different person. I cried when she opened a file that she had sent herself and couldn't remember doing it. I don't want to say what the file contained and spoil the story. Heart-wrenching and powerful book.

I highly recommended reading this book.
