Disappointing

When I started this book, I wasn't aware that this book belongs to a series but I think it's not important to know the previous books as they always deal with other characters. I found my way easily around without knowing the other stories.
In the beginning I still kind of liked the book and its cosy atmosphere in a little town in the Cotswold but I found myself more and more annoyed with the story and its characters. I also recommend not to read the whole blurb as it tells almost the whole story of the book.
Becca was a very insecure protagonist, always fearing and worrying, and she desperately wants to be like her twin sister. First it was easy to understand Becca and her fears but I got more and more annoyed by her.
I also missed the Christmassy atmosphere I was expecting from this story. All in all I have to say this book was quite disappointing for me and I expected something different.
