Familiengeschichte und JOPA-Eis
Schon der Titel und das wirklich gelungene Cover haben mir gut gefallen. Der Schreibstil passt hervorragend in die Zeit um 1930, der bayrische Dialekt, hier und da, macht Spaß beim Lesen. Die einzelnen Kapitel sind fortlaufend und beschreiben im Tage, bzw Wochenrhythmus das Leben der Familie. Keine Zeitsprünge und trotzdem wird die Vergangenheit und die Ursache für verschieden Verhaltensweisen gut eingestreut.
Die Geschichte des Josef Pankofer, Erfinder des JOPA-Eis, hätte so sein können. Man weiß ja nicht viel über ihn, aber diese fiktive Geschichte wirkt sehr authentisch, finde ich. Die Charaktere sind schön herausgearbeitet, die Lebensumstände in der damaligen Zeit ebenso.
Der Roman bietet Platz für eine Fortsetzung. Jetzt ist der Eiossalon erst mal gerettet, aber der Krieg steht bevor und danach die Wirtschaftswunderzeit. Ich würde mich über die Fortsetzung dieses leichten Sommerromans freuen.
