Looking at the mainly high ratings and looking at mine, I am feeling like the odd one out again.

I can understand what people fascinated about the book but unfortunately it couldn't touch me that much. Yes, it was sad but Laurel remained distant to me all the time, even though it's written from her perspective.

In the beginning I found the letters written to several dead celebrities kind of interesting but unfortunately they turned out to be quite boring after a while. They contain too much basic information about the stars as well as Laurel's life.

I had high hopes for this book but it left me kind of disappointed.
