This book has been on my ebook pile for exactly 2 years and I have no idea why because I definitely enjoyed this book.e
This book deals with a tough subject and it's defintely not for everyone. Protagonist Katie was abducted, raped and held captive at the age of 13. Eight years later she is still struggling to lead a normal live until she meets Ethan, who also has a secret.
I really liked how the author described Katies struggles and to me it sounded very realistic. The abuse itself is not the only problem but also her problems to lead a normal life, the way her experiences influence her whole life. I found it very heart-wrenching thinking about what Katie but also Will went through. Still the book didn't get me emotionally involved completely.
I had a few problems with Ethan and his stalker behaviour, though I could also understand him how he wanted to find out about Katie.
The drama was very predictable and the book ends with a mean cliffhanger, so I have to find about the rest of Katie and Ethans story very soon.
