The Choice is about Travis, a small town vet, who has everything he could ever want out of life. He's got excellent friends, a cool dog, his own house and a great job. Sure, there's no steady girlfriend in the picture, but Travis is okay with that.

Gabby moves in next door. Gabby is a PA, who has just moved to this small town to take a job. Complete with her very own unsatisfying relationship. Gabby and Travis meet when Gabby's dog suddenly ends up pregnant and she assumes it was that carefree neighbor's unruly dog.

This is a book for those times when you just want to sit in front of the fire and read something that isn't too deep. It's a very easy read, something that you can put down, and when you have the chance to pick it back up, you won't be totally lost.

The story line is easy to follow, not so many characters that things get complicated. The Choice is a great read.
