It has been forever since I have read part one and I wasn't a fan of it. So that made my expectations for the sequel pretty low but it was a great positive surprise.
The book was creepy, suspenseful and confusing. It was totally messing with my mind and I was sure I would lose it too. A great play with the mind. I was suffering and feeling with Mara. 

The 500+ pages combined with my low expectations irritated me at first but the book turned out to be an absolute pagetuner, making me read it in almost one day. 

Now I am glad that part 3 is already published and I can't wait to read it.
