This one was easily one of my fave Paige Toon books.
From the beginning I was absolutely hooked to the book and it couldn't put it down. It made me even forget time and I would have loved to read through the night to finish it in one sitting.
When I started reading this I expected a light summer lover story but it was soo much more. It was very intense and emotional.
Alice and Joe were absolutely adorable and I also liked her friends. I couldn't stand Lukas from the beginning. Funny fact and perspective for me reading about a german character in England. Most german names were kind of clishee and very old-fashioned, though they were perfect for his family.
Paige Toon, you seriously are my goddess of chick-lit!
