Tedious, different than expected but especially interesting at the end!

Cover: The picture of a woman as Aurora, a horse and a dog is fitting to contents in the book. Also it looks "old" and therefore fits to the time it is taking place.

Characters: All the time I looked at Aurora with a little distance because I couldn't get the measure of her. Because of the secret around her I didn't know weather I really like her or not. I liked pretty much her cousin Lucy because she seems to be a warmhearted woman und the two man (Talbot, John) around them because they are real gentlemen.

Opinion:A long time in the story the murder doesn't play a real role and it doesn't seem to be a real crime novel. Therefore I thought that it is a bit tedious and also different than expected for a crime novel. Therefore I have to remind me here and there to concentrate on the story. At the end the storyline gets a bit faster and therefore more interestind. All in all it is a bit arduous, butwithout this it is also interesting and especially at the end also entertaining.
