Disappointingly boring

I really wanted to like this book but I cant give more than 2.5 stars. I did like the general idea of the world and the storyline but the writing was extremely slow and dragging. there were so many parts where I thought "who cares, this is not important for the storyline". I am not sure if I will continue with this series.
