Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich mir das Buch im Buchhandel selbst ausgesucht hätte, wenn ich nicht online gelesen hätte, dass es sich dabei um eine Empfehlung von Reese Witherspoon handelt. Ich lese gerne die Bücher aus ihren Empfehlung und habe daher auch hier gerne zugegriffen. Und obwohl das Buch ein eher langsames Tempo vorlegt, hat mir Story sehr gut gefallen. Ich würde das Buch nicht als klassischen Thriller eingruppieren, eher als politischen Spannungsroman.

Mir gefällt das Cover von Northern Spy sehr gut, ich fand auch den Klappentext und die Leseprobe sehr ansprechend.
Gerade die Story um die zwei Schwestern, die ja aktuell nicht viel Kontakt miteinander haben, finde ich interessant. Spannend sind deren Lebenswege.
Da ich als Rezensionsexemplar das Hörbuch bekommen hatte (habe ich mir so gewünscht), habe ich mich sehr gefreut, als es ankam. Pünktlich zu Wochenende.
Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich mit der Stimme der Vorleserin...
