I read this book in German. My English was not even close to good enough to understand a whole book.

I loved the idea of a mage with a secret. The order of the blue star was very interesting and I also liked the humor with which MZB describes some of the situations. It is awesome that a mage would call his magic bag "bbbbbbag" because he knows that he only needs to call it when he is nervous and when he is nervous he stutters.

Who liked these stories in the complete book should read the Thieves World series of Robert Lynn Asprin. For this series Lythande was born and there are plenty more characters who are interesting and fun to read about.
