Paige Toon is one of my favorite authors but this book is one of the weakest I have read.

I liked the beginning with the three friends arriving at Key West and having a good time. The summer and beach atmosphere was captured really well as well.

Throughout the book it started to drag for me and I couldn't connect with the story. I also had some troubles with the characters. Generally Laura was a sweet girl but I really had some problem with her decisions. I also hated how her family and friends were intervening with her relationshp. With Lo I just coudldn't warm up, he was way too distant for my taste.

The book was a nice and partly sweet read which had me entertained but not emotionally involved.
