Mir haben die deutschsprachigen Bridget Bücher, die ich vor über 10 Jahren gelesen habe weitaus besser gefallen. Das ständige Gewitter ging mir auf die Nerven, ausserdem war mir die Zeitspanne von der damals jugendlichen zur jetzt 51-jährigen Mutter zweier Kinder, als Witwe, weil Mark Darcy verstorben auf Männerfang, einfach zu groß. Bridget kommt in diesem Buch sehr unsympathisch rüber, von ihrer Aussprache her, diese Botox Geschichte und eben auch wie sie sich den Männern gegenüber verhält. Okay, das Gute war, mein Englisch wurde mal wieder etwas aufgefrischt, mehr hat mir das Buch nicht gebracht.
