leichter Krimi vor malerischer Kulisse, konnte mich aber leider nicht fesseln.

Die Krimi-Autorin Laura hat sich frisch von ihrem Mann getrennt und begleitet ihre Freundin Britta auf ihrem alljährlichen Urlaub mit ihrer Clique nach Madeira. Doch die Idylle wird früh durch den plötzlichen Tod von Stefan getrübt, der an einer allergischen Reaktion stirbt. Laura vermutet hier einen Mord und unterstützt den etwas eigenwilligen Commissario Mauricio Torres bei den Ermittlungen als Dolmetscherin.

Dieser Krimi vor malerischer Kulisse verbreitet schönes Urlaubsflair. Durch die ausführlichen Beschreibungen der Handlungsorte bekommt man Lust selbst die Insel zu erkunden.

Die Story an sich war leicht zu lesen, jedoch konnte mich der Schreibstil nicht fesseln, die Handlung tröpfelt leicht vor sich hin.

Die Charaktere blieben für mich eher blass, obwohl ich den Commissario ganz interessant fand. Der Fall an sich birgt leider keine großen Überraschungen.

Als Urlaubslektüre zum Entspannen ist der Krimi aber durchaus geeignet.
