Paying an almost random girl to pretend to be your girlfriend is definitely a different approach in the NA genre, so I generally liked that. There were also some things which were new to me or at least I haven't read much about.
Maybe I read too much in this genre by now but unfortunately the book coudn't emotionally touch me as much as I expected it to. I couldn't really connect with the characters and didn't really feel the chemistry between them. There was distance throughout the whole book.
I had an idea about the big secret after only a few chapters and it turned out to be exactly that. Of course I won't say anything about it but just that I found a tad bit too much.
Despite a great new idea to me the book doesn't stand out from the pool of books. I was a fun and quick read but just remains average.
