No Christmas feelings at all

Last year around Christmas I had the feeling everyone was reading this collection of YA christmas short stories. This year I finally came around to read it and my expectations were immense.
Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the most stories.
1) Midnights - Rainbow Rowell **
I am not a big fan of the Rainbow Rowell books, so this short story didn't work for me either. The characters were too nerdy and the various food allergies seemed to be the centre of this story. Not my cup of tea.
2) The Lady and the Fox - Kelly Link *
I couldn't connect with this story at all and quickly started skipping through it. It was a pretty weird story.
3) Angels in the Snow - Matt de la Pena ***
This was the first story I kind of liked. I was nicely written and the story was pretty cute.
4) Polaris is Where You'll Find Me - Jenny Han ***,5
Up to this point this short story was my fave of the book. It was so cute and I absolutely enjoyed the setting.
5) It's a Yuletide Miracle, Charlie Brown - Stephanie Perkins **,5
The story was ok but I couldn't connect with the characters that much but it was still kind of enjoyable to read.
6) Your Temporary Santa - David Levithan ***
This was a fun read which I really liked. I think it's the first I have read but David Levithan and I really liked his writing style.
7) Krampuslauf - Holly Black **
8) What the Hell Have You Done, Sophie Roth? - Gayle Forman **
9) Beer Buckets and Baby Jesus - Myra McEntire *
I skipped this story after a few pages as I again couldn't connect with anything happening in this book.
10) Welcome to Christmas, CA - Kiersten White **
11) Star of Bethlehem - Ally Carter ***,5
This was another cute read which had a surprise in the end which I hadn't expected.
12) The Girl Who Woke the Dreamer - Laini Taylor *
I skipped this story as well...I just dislike Laini Taylor's writing style and story development.
So, overall this book has been very disappointing to me. I expected some cute cosy Christmas read but the stories were far away from getting me into the Christmas mood.
