I had absolutely no expectations when I started this book. The girls (you know who you are) persuaded me to join their buddy read, saying "You will love this one, you can't do anything wrong with a Hoover-book". And they were so right!
This was my first Hoover-book and it seriously sweeped me off my feet. I loved the writing style...I absolutely felt like I am with the characters. I cried and I laughed with them. God, how much did I cry while reading it, I totally lost progress. Some scenes ripped my heart out, only to make me laugh again a few scenes later.
One thing I was sceptical about were the poems and they were one of the best things about this book.
This is one of the best books I read this year, if not the best.
Thank you girls for persuading me. This won't be my last Hoover-book. I am infected with the Hoover-fever <3
