Guter Anfang, langatmige Story

Regina, eine junge Frau, die mal im Kempinski gearbeitet hat, zieht zurück in die Provinz nach Thürigen und arbeitet dort in einer einfachen Ausflugsgaststätte. Groth, ein Polizist, ist vor Jahren nach Hamburg gegangen und jetzt wieder zurückgekert, weil dort irgendwas vorgefallen ist. Dann wird Siegen Eck tot gefunden, anscheinend betrunken in den See gefallen, mit dem Kopf am Steg aufgeschlagen und ertrunken. Groth hat ihn flüchtig gekannt und auch Regina ist mit ihm gesehen worden. Es gibt eine Verbindung zum Mordfall Jutta Timm vor zehn Jahren. Alles scheint zusammen zu hängen, es wird aber immer nur Schwammiges angedeutet, was das Buch ziemlich langatmig macht. Die Charaktere sollen wohl geheimnisvoll wirken, sind aber meiner Meinung nach einfach nur farblos. Der Schluss ist dann nochmal überraschend. Trotzdem kein Highlight im Bücherregal.
