I had my hopes set so high, and it just...I just feel really crushed right now. Veronica Roth is a cruel woman. I just don't understand how she thought this was a successful way of ending the series that defined her.

I actually quite enjoyed Divergent, and I wasn't a fan of Insurgent, but I was really hoping that Allegiant would amaze me. It didn't. None of it worked for me — the story, the world building, the main characters, and especially not that bastard awful ending.

I wish this book didn't make me regret reading the whole series. :(
