“That is love. Love is messy and imperfect. It isn’t that you aren’t capable of it. It’s that you’re overwhelmed by it.”

Seven Nights of Sin the Penthouse Affair duet by Kendall Ryan is the  conclusion to Two Week Arrangement where we first meet Dom and Presley.

The story picks up right where the last book left off with Dominic coming to Presley's rescue. Despite all that has happened, she is relieved to learn that she still has a position with Aspen Hotels. She is the best person for the job and Dom doesn't want to lose her, but anything more is out of the question. His past has made him guarded, and Presley has already broken his trust. But for Presley that's just not enough. She did the one thing she was told not to do and fell in love with him. Now she will do all in her power to break down those walls and earn back his trust. And a week-long business trip to London will give her the chance to do just that.

I had mixed feelings about the character development in this installment. Dominic was hot and cold, but even if this was warranted, he seemed sinister at times. While Presley, as to be expected from a young woman her age, felt naïve and weak. I did like Dom’s softer side and Presley’s determination. I liked the first book better. The romance and relationship just didn’t develop or evolve in a emotionally satisfying manner.
