Ugly Love is story about Tate, twenty two year old nurse in trainig that moves into her brother’s apartment in San Franciso to live with him till she finds a place for herself.
That’s where she meets Miles, her brother’s friend from work. Miles is an incredibly sexy, mysterious pilot from the apartment next door and someone who makes Tate tingle all over. The sexual chemistry between them was off the charts.
Tate and Miles agreed to have sex witn no strings. Miles told Tate from the very beginning that there won’t be love between them.
The story is told from a dual point of view, where Tate’s chapters focus on the present, while chapters told from Miles point of view are telling us what had happened to him few years before he met Tate.
I found both Miles and Tate to be extremely likable. The chemistry between them layered with emotional turmoil and steam- I was completely captivated. And, Miles, his story, it broke me. I was not expecting all those tears...
Ugly Love is captivating, beautiful, emotional, sexy and devastatingly painful to read but I’ll let you in on a little secret. The ending makes every ounce of pain I felt worth it. An unforgettable story I highly recommend!
