WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON?

Once again the prospect of a movie adaptation compels me to read the book first.
The Scorch Trials is what happens after the Gladers escape from the maze. Upon waking up in a strange location by Cranks, people who have been infected by the Flare and are slowly going mad, they are informed that they must travel North in order to receive the cure for the Flare they have been infected with.
The Scorch Trials probably doesn't deserve these three stars, but giving it only two stars just felt wrong. And that’s due to the simple fact that even though the book annoyed me, I kept reading and I finished it even faster than I thought I would. Not because I like it, but because despite everything I always wanted to know what happened next, also I wanted it to be over.
This has been an easy book to read, but difficult to enjoy.
I just hope that the third and final book in this series will answer all the questions raised by what has being going on because nothing seems to be making much sense and everything seems to be heading in no particular direction.
I really was expecting things to finally clear up at the end of this book, instead I was left with even more questions than before...
However, I can't wait to see the movie, the trailer looks really good.
