There were several things I liked about the book: the chemistry between Ridge and Sydney, them writing songs together and being able to listen to the same song immediately. I think it's a great idea to combine the book and the music.
What I didn't like is how the story developed and how things turned out between Ridge and Sydney. It's difficult to describe it without spoilering, so I have to keep this so cryptic.

Unfortunately this time Colleen Hoover failed to touch and emotionally grab me like she did with "Slammed" and "Hopeless". As I said I loved the music part, though the type of music wasn't really my taste. This is my fave song of it after all: http://www.maybesomedaysoundtrack.com/maybe-someday.php
