The Perks of being a wallflower (Englisch - Audio)
Ok, first of all I "read" it as an audiobook.
Second: I knew the movie before the book, so I thought I knew what I was getting into and the ending didn't surprise me.
But what surprised me was the letter-to-unknown-person format, which I usually don't like but it worked extremly well in this book. (and is a huge difference to the movie!)
Furthermore, I liked the development of charlie and that it is actually visible in the letters. (Maybe it is my imagination but in my opinion he got smarter every letter, which is good, because I really didn't like listening to the first half of the book)
Also, I must say that this would have been a perfect book to read when I was 16 or 18, but now it was a little to late and hence not perfect, but good.
This book made me want to read all of the books that were mentioned and all of the songs they listened too while driving through town, having a christmas party or hanging out in someone's living room.
