I've been seeing The Hating Game everywhere for well over a year now and avoided it solely due to my phase of being constantly disappointed by the majorly hyped books. I could just about slap myself silly for pushing this aside for so many months, because it was worth the hype and much more.
The story follows a girl called Nora who lives a normal life with her mom and her bestfriend Vee. One day the Coach decides to change their seats for a project and she gets to sit with Patch, a boy who rarely talked. At the first words they exchanged she felt something new inside her. She couldn't stand him because of his arrogance but also couldn't deny the feelings.
Misadventures of a City Girl is book one in the Misadventures series. It is written by both Meredith Wild and Chelle Bliss. It is my first book by both of these authors.
